StatsRun

Our Mission

Data is everywhere, and it is growing at an exponential rate. Data is the driving force for how the world operates.

Data is commonly viewed as technical and complex, and in many ways it is. However, StatsRun believes the power of data is in the stories it tells. Stories constructed from data are works of art. We believe everyone should have the ability to express their own stories through data, and the ability to interpret the data-driven stories being expressed to them.

For most of my life, I saw data as a puzzle to be solved. I was fascinated by the idea of how data points were like puzzle pieces that could be put together to form a picture. And how a little imagination can expand the borders of that picture to tell a more colorful story.

This makes the saying "a picture is worth a thousand words" a vast understatement.

My life story began far before starting StatsRun. I was born and raised in New York City, and I am a graduate of the University of Connecticut. I have been a diehard Mets and Jets fan from the day I was born, and a diehard UConn Huskies fan since the day I stepped foot on campus. Sports have always been a huge part of my life, from working my first job at Shea Stadium handing out bobbleheads and greeting fans, interning for the New York Mets and ESPN, and to working in the New York Mets front office after college. I know how sports can transform lives, and it certainly has transformed mine. I have seen how practice is the prerequisite to results. Despite setbacks, I have seen the will of individuals to come back stronger. And I have seen how players have good and bad seasons. I'm determined to make this season of building StatsRun a good one.

Following my time with the New York Mets, I worked for Accenture and Cisco Systems for nearly a decade. After my time with Cisco Systems, I felt a calling to start StatsRun. Over the past decade, we've seen the rise of social media. We've seen how fast data travels and how information spreads, where trends become social norms, and expectations run lives. And now with the rise of Artificial Intelligence, we are at the beginning of a new era of information. My hope is that this new era will bring to light human authenticity. My passion is to ensure that is the path our world is walking towards. I invite you to join me on this journey.
